JNIA TERMINAL 3' WILL PAVE A WAY TO ATTRACT FOREIGN DIRECT INVESTMENT .


There is a close relationship between improved infrastructures and attraction of foreign investors. Completion of expansion of the Julius Nyerere International Airport (JNIA) ‘Terminal 3' will pave a way to attract and increase  foreign direct investments. This was pointed out by the Executive Director of Tanzania Investment Centre Mr. Geoffrey Mwambe during his official visit at Tanzania Airport Authority aiming to recognize a job well done of JNIA Terminal 3 expansion which is about 82 percent completed.                                                                                                                                          

This is a good and huge investment made by the Government which will have a multiplying effect in attracting investments in various projects/opportunities. Terminal 3 will be a point for attracting investors both local and foreign who will be allowed to lease space and operate business/investments. The related projects that will emerge with new Terminal 3 at JNIA are operations of new airlines, hotels, duty free shops, banks, restaurants, bureau de change, car parking and cars rental. Following such investment, the governments’ goals will be offering world class services and boost government earnings to recoup the massive investment made.

Terminal 3 is a state of art which is all fitted with modern technology gadgets for digital technology, is expected to complete in May, 2019. It will be a landmark infrastructure made by the government of Tanzania. The construction started in 2013 and it will worth about 560bn/-. Terminal 3 has three floors of which the first floor is for arrivals, second floor for departure and third floor will be offices.
